The Health workforce reporting and planning team hosted the Victorian Rural Health Workforce Census webinar on Thursday 29 September from 1 – 1:30 pm.
This webinar explains the what, why, and how of the Victorian Rural Health Workforce Census and how to get involved.
The Victorian Rural Health Workforce Census contributes to the Victorian Health Workforce Needs Assessment, which is used by the Department of Health government to make decisions about health initiatives in rural Victoria and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. The information is also used by the RWAV to administer hundreds of grants, programs, and initiatives to rural and remote Victorian communities to improve health outcomes.
The Census is the avenue for Health Professionals and those who work in  the rural and remote Victorian health sector to have their say on what the health needs are and the workforce gaps that exist in their respective region.
This recorded webinar will have a short presentation and then we will answer questions from the audience. You can send any questions ahead of time to data@rwav.com.au.
