Welcome to the Outreach Service Directory. RWAV provides Outreach Services, which significantly improves access to vital and ongoing health care for rural, regional and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across Victoria.

    The region covers nearly 4000 km2 with 1.4 million residents. It is culturally diverse and has a prominent and growing Indigenous Australian population.

    The Yarra Valley features over 80 vineyards set in picturesque rolling hills. Dandenongs Ranges span the valley and there are plenty of bush walking and cycling trails, fruit farms, markets, galleries and attractions for the whole family.

    The region’s mix of urban areas, resort towns, tourism developments and rural areas makes it an interesting and diverse area.

    The region stretches from Melbourne’s eastern outskirts to Victoria’s far east. Drive the Great Alpine Way to the Ninety Mile Beach, the vast Gippsland Lakes, and relaxed coastal towns.

    North-Western Melbourne

    Covering the northern and western suburbs of Melbourne this is the most populous and diverse region of Victoria, covering nearly 3000 km2. The region spans from the Melbourne CBD to the outer northern and western suburbs with a diverse and multicultural demographic.

    A major attraction is the historic seaport of Williamstown located in Port Phillip Bay.

    The region spans from the southern Melbourne suburbs to the tip of the Mornington Peninsula. The peninsula has been a favoured holiday resort for generations and is home to Sorrento, the site of the first European settlement in Victoria.

    The coastline becomes rockier through Sorrento and Portsea offering some great coastal views plus long stretches of sandy beaches near the main piers.
