GP FELLOWSHIP EXAM PREPARATION GRANT
The GP Fellowship Exam Preparation Grant supports General Practitioners to access education and resources to facilitate preparation towards gaining Fellowship of either the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).
This grant is only available to doctors on the Rural Locum Relief Program (RLRP) working in Modified Monash Model (MMM) 2 locations.
Applications need to be made and the funding approved BEFORE the exam preparation training has commenced as retrospective costs are not payable.
Please note this grant closes on 31 December and won't reopen again.
Medical Professional Development Program
The Medical Professional Development Program (MPD) supports the ongoing professional development and medical education of medical practitioners in rural and regional Victoria. MPD also aims to encourage trainee doctors to complete rural and regional placements by providing access to professional development subsidies. The MPD is funded by the Victorian Government and administered by RWAV.
East Gippsland Trust Fund Grant
The East Gippsland Trust Fund Grant provides funding for general practices to support their GPs to improve patient care and health status in the East Gippsland region.
Health Workforce Scholarship Program
The Health Workforce Scholarship Program (HWSP) is an initiative of the Australian Government Department of Health and is designed to improve access to services needed in remote and rural areas across Australia by supporting an increase in skills, capacity and/or scope of practice. The HWSP provides professional development support to health professionals in rural, regional and remote Australia.
