The RWAV Conference offers clinical content through the sessions and presentations across the two days. You may be eligible to claim ticket, travel and accommodation costs associated with the RWAV Conference through the HWSP grant. Eligible Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, General Practitioners, GP Registrars, including locums should apply prior to the conference. All HWSP eligibility criteria will continue to apply.
The Health Workforce Scholarship Program is an initiative of the Australian Department of Health and Aged Care administered in Victoria by RWAV.
The Health Workforce Scholarship Program grant supports health professionals working in private practice in rural and regional Victoria to access up to $10,000 per financial year to train and upskill.

Medical Professional Development Program (MPD)
MMM 2 - 7
The RWAV Conference offers clinical content through the sessions and presentations across the two days. You may be eligible to claim ticket, travel and accommodation costs associated with the RWAV Conference through the MPD grant. Eligible General Practitioners, GP Registrars and Medical Interns should apply after the conference. All MPD eligibility criteria will continue to apply.
The MPD supports the ongoing professional development and medical education of medical practitioners in rural and regional Victoria.
MPD also encourages trainee doctors to complete rural and regional placements by providing access to professional development subsidies.
The MPD is funded by the Victorian Government and administered by RWAV.

Allied Health and Nursing Upskilling Grant
MMM 2 - 7
The Allied Health and Nursing Upskilling Grant supports priority nursing and allied health professionals working in MMM2 locations with up to $1,000 to access educational, professional and skill development to better meet the health needs of your community. Eligible Counsellors, Diabetes Educators, Dieticians, Exercise Physiologists, Midwives, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Psychologists, Social Workers and Speech Pathologists may apply for this opportunity. Applications open on the 1st of February 2025 and you must apply one business day before the first day of the conference/pre-conference workshops.
