To be eligible for an RWAV grant, health professionals must be working in an eligible health service in a regional Victorian MMM 2 - 7 location.
For some grants, health professionals working in an Aboriginal health service in a MMM 1 location may also be eligible. Please read the grant guidelines for more.

RURAL AMBASSADOR STUDENT GRANT
The RWAV Rural Ambassador Student Grant aims to enhance opportunities for students interested in rural health to participate in, or lead, events and activities that promote rural health. The grant aims to raise awareness of the opportunities available in rural healthcare to young people.

UCAT Exam Preparation Grant
Studies show that individuals who have experience living in rural and regional locations often remain or return to these areas to pursue their professional careers. In partnership with MedEntry, RWAV is offering grants that cover the two-day UCAT preparation workshops. These will run as interactive, live stream online events in 2022. Successful applicants will also have access to MedEntry’s online resources well in advance of the workshop.
