Quotes from Lauren Cordwell, RWAV CEO
Quote 1: Celebrating 20 Years of Recognition
“This year marks 20 years of celebrating the heart and soul of rural and regional healthcare. These Awards are not only a tribute to the incredible people in rural healthcare, but also a reminder of the deep gratitude their communities hold for them,” said RWAV CEO Lauren Cordwell. “To have more than 735 years of service represented in our Length of Service awards alone is truly inspiring.”
Quote 2 – On the Power of Community Recognition
“These Awards are a powerful moment of reflection and recognition for our rural health professionals. Many tell us this is the first time in their careers they’ve been acknowledged in this way,” said Ms Cordwell. “It’s more than an award, it’s the community saying, ‘We are thankful for all that you do in caring for us.’ That recognition matters.”
Quote 3 – Encouraging the Next Generation
“Recognition not only honours those currently serving, it inspires the next generation to consider a career in rural healthcare,” said Ms Cordwell. “We hope these Awards serve as inspiration to those just starting out, that your work will be valued, supported, and celebrated. A career in rural healthcare is incredibly rewarding.”
