Join the RWAV Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group

RWAV acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Victoria. We pay our respects to Elders, past, present and emerging.

Rural Workforce Agency Victoria (RWAV) is seeking Expressions of Interest from health professionals in MMM3-MMM6 locations in country Victoria who are interested in joining RWAV’s Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group in 2021. Working Group members will support the development and implementation of RWAV’s Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan*, which is to be endorsed by Reconciliation Australia.

A Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), as developed by Reconciliation Australia, is a strategic document that supports an organisation’s business plan. It includes practical actions that will drive an organisation’s contribution to reconciliation both internally and in the communities in which it operates.

We welcome applications from health professionals who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, work at an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO) or have a strong interest in Aboriginal health.

To check which MMM area you are in, use the Health Workforce Locator. To use the Locator, enter an address in the form and tick 2019 next to Modified Monash Model in the search box.  https://www.health.gov.au/resources/apps-and-tools/health-workforce-locator

* Reconciliation Australia administers the trademarked RAP Program.  Please note the terms ‘Reconciliation Action Plan’ and ‘RAP’ are trademarks of Reconciliation Australia.
