Join a well-established practice in either a Full-time or Part-time capacity. (P/T days available are: Monday, Thursday and Friday)

With a loyal and fully-booked patient base, you’ll step in straight away with great earning potential through standards consultations, care plans, telehealth, skin checks and nursing home visits.

You’ll be encouraged to provide comprehensive primary medical care to all age groups; with a high proportion of aged care, chronic illness, multiple conditions, mental health and complex case presentations.

To assist you to settle into the clinic and the community you will be provided with a 2-week orientation and induction program that introduces you to the software system, referrals process and resources available.

Being a popular holiday destination spot the patient numbers fluctuate throughout year, particularly around Easter and Christmas.

If you looking for a supportive environment towards GP fellowship, you will have access to educational forums and study groups to assist you in your progression to achieving fellowship.

Essential Criteria:

  • Current AHPRA Registration – (Doctors on Level 3+ Supervision with AHPRA are encourage to apply)
  • Australian Hospital or Australian General Practice experience

Practice Details:

The accredited practice consists of three consulting rooms including a treatment room to perform ECGs, wound management, phlebotomy, vaccinations, immunizations, spirometry, INRs etc. Attached to the practice is an aged care facility consisting of 30 beds including high-care beds for overnight stays.

You’ll join a Full-time GP who is the Practice Principal as well as 2 part-time doctors. Each are supported by a Practice Manager, a Practice Nurse and experienced administration team. The nurses are available to provide assistance with the treatment of patients and preparation of care management plans.

Other services include a mental health nurse, diabetes counselling, eye specialists, with further services available in Shepparton through the clinic’s referral network.
