Role

Walk into a fantastic F/T or P/T  opportunity with an established patient base at an accredited practice, located an hour from Melbourne.

A typical day in this clinic will see you doing a mix of standard consultation, managing all cases such as chronic medical conditions, emergencies, elderly, pediatrics and women health. The practice also has after hours and on – call (2 in 4) requirements. Ongoing mentoring support is available for a suitable doctor.

Essential Criteria

  • AHPRA – General registration
  • General GP skills
  • Women health experience
  • Accident and Emergency skills(preferable)

The Package

  • Salary terms are according to % of billings
  • Engaged as an independent contractor
  • Face to face and phone mentor support
  • Eligible for RVTS and AGPT
  • Orientation kit available
  • 2 weeks Annual leave

Practice Details:

These clinics are located in the picturesque towns of Woori Yallock and Launching Place, an hours drive from Melbourne. Providing a bulk-billing service, the clinics are a true family practice treating a broad range of patient demographics. Both are AGPAL accredited.

The clinics are open Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm. Counseling/dietitian services are available in the clinic. The practice has 4 doctors, 1 nurse and there is ample support from fellowed doctors in this group practice which sees approximately 400 patients a week. There are 2 consulting and treatments room with pathology services Dorevitch located onsite.

Woori Yallock is nestled in the rolling hills and lush green pastures of the Yarra Valley. Tourism and farming are the main industry offering berry farms, renowned wineries, and award-winning restaurants. During summer the region is abuzz with visitors, particularly during the weekend. Schooling is available at Woori Yallock Primary School and four secondary schools and sporting facilities are available nearby in Lilydale.
