Description

Working in a full-time capacity (at least four days per week), you will join a busy clinic, which is part of a family-owned corporate organisation that operates 17 clinics throughout Victoria and NSW.

You will be committed to providing a high level of clinical care to a large patient base. It would be beneficial if you have experience and/or interest in women’s health.

Preventative health management is the major focus on chronic disease, mental health and paediatrics our main group of patients, but there is a wide range of presentations.

Detailed orientation and induction to the clinic will assist you to transition seamlessly into a well-supported team environment. Access to study groups and in-house education will provide support for your achievement of specialist qualifications.

Essential Criteria

  • AHPRA General or Specialist Registration
  • Australian General Practice experience

Practice Details:

This well-established clinic has been providing trusted care and established quality medical services to the local community for over 20 years. An accredited, teaching and computerised practice currently comprising of a small team of  GPs, the clinic is committed to providing comprehensive family medicine care in a modern facility by experienced and multi-skilled healthcare professionals. Doctors are supported in practice by highly experienced administration staff, a practice manager, a chronic disease management nurse and a practice nurse. You will have access to a treatment room where services such as minor surgery, suturing and vaccinations are performed.

Practice hours are Monday – Friday 08:00 to 17:30 and Saturday 08:30 to 13:30. There are no after-hours/on-call commitments.

The clinic has a strong emphasis on the provision of Preventative Health, Women’s and Men’s Health, Family Planning, Mental Health and Childhood Immunisations. For the community, Chronic Disease Management holds a high priority and assists patients with the best possible healthy lifestyle and disease management choices. A physiotherapist is available in clinic and a podiatrist is available a couple of times a week. Other allied health professionals are available at the local health service.
