General Practitioner: Wangaratta

Role

With a doctor retiring, there is a fantastic opportunity for a VR general practitioner to join the well-established practice. The full time role will see you take over an existing and loyal patient base.

You will see a wide array of cases, ranging from your standard consults, chronic disease management, minor procedures and pre-employment checks. You will also join the team of doctors in servicing the local nursing homes.

The small on-call and VMO requirement is shared amongst the 3 other clinics in Wangaratta, allowing you to enjoy a great work/life balance. If you are looking to become a GP mentor this is a great environment for you to enhance your skills.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Hold either FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration

The Package

  • 70% of billings
  • Established  patient base
  • Supervising opportunities
  • Ability to support upskilling in interested courses (Subject to availability through RWAV)
  • Relocation grant (through RWAV)

Practice Details:

The busy fully computerised medical practice has 5 consulting rooms and a well-equipped treatment room for emergencies and minor procedures. Hosting 4 VR doctors and a registrar, they are well supported by 2 nurses and an experienced administrative staff. The accredited practice also has onsite pathology services as well as a visiting Diabetes Educator and Dietitian.

Practice hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 6:00pm Saturday 8:30am – 11:30am.
