The RWAV Rural Ambassador Student Grant aims to enhance opportunities for students interested in rural health to participate in or lead events and activities that promote rural health.
The grant aspires to raise awareness of the opportunities available in rural healthcare to young people. This is a crucial step in attracting and retaining the future rural health workforce.
RWAV’s Rural Clinical Placement Grants support medical, nursing and allied health students to undertake placements in regional or rural Victoria. Successful applicants may be awarded up to $1000 (including GST), dependent on funding availability. Applicants are expected to complete the clinical placement in 2020/2021.
Grants offer financial assistance for travel and accommodation costs associated with the clinical placement. A clinical placement is considered as a continuous period in one location.
