A new RWAV grant is available for regional Victorian health professionals working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health to upskill in ear health.
The RWAV Ear Health Professional Development Grant will provide support to health professionals working with the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community who want to further their skills and knowledge in ear health assessment and management.
This grant will support health professionals to undertake training to increase their practical skills in using ear health assessment equipment and learn about ear health considerations for the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community.
Up to $1,000 will be available to reimburse the costs of short courses, workshops, professional development training and recognised industry skills training. To meet the objectives of the grant the following course is recommended: The Ear Train Program delivered by Tafe NSW (other courses may also be eligible).
The grant will be open until 11 June 2021.
