“RWAV remains steadfast in its commitment to improving health outcomes for rural, regional and First Nations communities, and this year has reminded us how essential collaboration is to that mission. As the landscape around us continues to change, we are adapting too, strengthening our engagement with government, clinicians, community leaders and partners across the state. With a renewed constitution and a bold future ahead, the Board is focused on ensuring RWAV stays relevant, effective and deeply connected to those we serve.” said Prof Grant Phelps, RWAV Board Chair.
Quote from the RWAV CEO
“Each achievement in this year’s report reflects the collective effort of the rural and regional health professionals, partners, and communities we work alongside every day,” said RWAV CEO Lauren Cordwell.
Ms. Cordwell added, “Our achievements this year show what’s possible when collaboration, purpose, and commitment come together. From supporting the current workforce to inspiring the next generation, we’ve made measurable progress toward a more resilient, equitable rural health system, and we look forward to continuing this momentum in the year ahead.”
RWAV’s integrated efforts continue to strengthen health outcomes across rural and regional Victoria, guided by close collaboration with communities, government, and partner organisations. We look forward to continuing to build upon the great engagement we have across the sector as we work together toward a more equitable and accessible health system for all Victorians.
