Vacancies listed are "current" i.e. the practices are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced GP to take up the position immediately.
Australian Trained Doctors
If you are an Australian trained doctor with vocational recognition or you completed your intern year prior to 1996, you may consider any of the vacancies listed. Please click on "Looking for a Vacancy."
If you are an Australian trained doctor and you completed your intern year after 1996, you are subject to provider number restrictions and need to be aware that you may not be eligible for all the vacancies listed. RWAV can provide you with advice regarding this matter.
Overseas Trained Doctors
If you are an overseas trained doctor – either a permanent resident/Australian citizen OTD or a temporary resident doctor – you should note that not all the vacancies listed are eligible to recruit an overseas trained doctor who is subject to either medical registration or provider number restrictions.
