The RWAV Rural Locum Program allows rural and remote GPs to take leave from practices for professional development, leisure purposes or in the case of illness.

Our Locum Program can assist rural GPs to take a break, go on holidays or complete study by assisting with locum relief.

All rural and remote towns (with at least one private GP) have been prioritised into categories based on the degree of remoteness of the town and the number of GPs in the town.
